中国农村卫生人才缺乏已经成为制约农村卫生事业发展的瓶颈，培养有能力的全科医生和全科医学师资队伍显得尤为迫切，特别是培养出能在社区卫生服务机构工作、能指导医学生和全科住院医师的导师。采用比较分析法对中外全科医学教育体制、中外全科医学的师资体系和师资能力进行对比，建议在我国以学校教育为重点系统培养全科医生；建立全科医生的胜任能力标准；建立适宜我国全科医生的师资选择标准，发现精英和培育精英。

The lack of rural health human resource has become the bottleneck of restricting the rural health development in China .It is particularly urgent to cultivate competent general practitioner (GP) and experienced mentors who can work in community health service and guide medical students and general residents .A comparative analysis of Chinese and foreign general medical education system ,teaching faculty and teaching ability was conducted .Finally ,it is suggested to train GP based on school education system ,establish standards of GP competence ,carry out suitable selection criteria for GP faculty and cultivate elites .
