赵纪生教授是全国第三、第四、第五批师承老中医药专家，曾师从国医大师路志正，长期从事中医肾病临床，对糖尿病肾病有着独特的治疗经验，赵教授认为本病有着虚实夹杂的复杂症候，提出采用健脾益肾益气养阴解毒化瘀的基本治疗方法，即治本补虚，又治标驱邪，临床疗效满意。

Professor Zhao Jisheng is the national third, fourth, and fifth teachers and old TCM expert. He studied with Lu Zhizheng who is the Chinese medicine master. He has long been engaged in clinical TCM nephropathy, and has a unique therapeutic experience in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. Professor Zhao believed that this disease has a complex inclusion of actual syndrome. He put forward basic methods of treatment using invigorating spleen and kidney, invigorating Qi and nourishing Yin, and Jiedu Huayu, namely root tonic , and temporary Quxie. The clinical efficacy is satisfactory.
