Bats are specialists for echolocation .The CF-FM bat faces a problem on how to distinguish and determine the echo carrying information about target among emitted call and multiple reflections in a highly cluttered situation .Previous studies suggested that the CF-FM bat which emitted complex CF-FM pulses could encode the distance and relative speed of target included in pulse -echo pair in cluttered space by temporal and spectral integration of signal in the auditory center .These neural mechanisms of encoding in inferior colliculus were reviewed to further recognization the principle of auditory center processing echolocation signal in complicated auditory habitat .
