许光世、蔡晋成所编的《西藏新志》，刊印于1911年，是清代西藏方志中成书最晚的一部。此志“地理部”之“驿站”尽管也有一些新资料，但其主要资料来源是日本人山县初男所著《西藏通览》一书。在清代西藏方志的研究中，对《西藏新志》的体例及资料来源、价值都应作进一步分析与探讨。

New Records of Tibet compiled by Xu Guang-shi and Cai Jin-cheng published in 1911. It is the last book of the Chronicles of Tibet written during the Qing dynasty. Although there is some new information in the Geography Part of New Records of Tibet about"the post houses", the main information source of the part of the book is the book, General Introduction of Tibet, written by Chu Nan from Ri Ren Shan County. This article ana?lyzes and discusses the written style, information sources and its value of New Records of Tibet written in the Qing dynasty.
