Waste spent grains, as the main by-product in liquor-making, its reclamation could not only settle the problem of environmental pol-lution but also achieve ecological cycle and sustainable development of distilleries. In this paper, the latest research progress in the reclamation of waste spent grains in recent years were reviewed, which provided useful reference for practicing low-carbon cyclic economy and extending the utilization of by-product in liquor-making industry.
