The report of the 18th congress attaches great importance to the anti -cor ruption construction , defining more sharply the party ’ s clear-cut stand in the anti-corruption work . This work not only made new progress but also has some problems . Scientific analysis and judgement of the current situation and development trend of anti-corruption is the important basis of our party scientific decision-making and the party ’ s style of the basic premise to build a clean government and anti-corruption work . The central leadership of Xi Jinping as the general secretary , using strong ways and means to open a new era of anti -corruption work , has made some achievements , but problems coexist , containing the new development trend .
