为解决视频图像处理系统中图像数据量大且对实时性要求高的问题,设计以TMS320C6713为核心的实时视频图像处理系统,利用EDMA控制器实现图像数据的高速传输。着重阐述了EDMA的实现方法及其软件的设计,采用乒乓缓冲技术协调数据搬移与CPU数据处理的节奏,从而满足了视频图像处理系统的高速实时性要求。

To solve the problem caused by large amount of image data and the requirement of real-time in the video image processing system, the paper design a video image processing system based on digital signal processors TMS320C6713, using the EDMA controller to realize high speed data transmission. The method of data transfers by EDMA and the software design flow are described respectively, adopting the Ping-Pong buffer technology to balance rhythm between the data transmission and CPU data processing, so the real-time requirement of the video image processing system could be satisfied.
