This paper proposes the word order of the noun phrases in Qinzhou Zhuang and presents the c-/f-structures of classifier phrases and numeral phrases within the framework of Lexical-Functional Grammar.This approach makes things clearer in teasing out constituent and functional structures at different levels of representation.Within the framewrok of LFG,a DP analysis is employed to analyze the NPs,in which demonstratives are considered as Ds.The findings are of typological significance as they may help us address the internal structures of the NPs of other languages in Southeast Asia and they may shed light on the teaching of English in the Zhuang minority areas.
