An improvement measure to the validation of the firing word parity check to avoid false action from control and protection system caused by harsh validation standards is proposed. Essentially, this improved strategy realizes the protection effect of parity check through firing phase check and additional firing sequence check, based on which the protective level can be decreased. Valve base electronics based on the improvement measure of this validation strategy has been deployed in engineering. This improvement measure has effectively eliminated operation risk under current protection configuration and lowered false action probability of the scheme.
