With the purpose of speeding up smart grid construction, and in order to improve efficiency and benefit of battery energy storage station construction, the technical background is introduced, including the development of battery energy storage station in China and the projects and theoretical exploration by SGCC, a detailed reading about the key technologies and engineering applications of the battery energy storage station design is given.
