The principle and structure of direct mercury analyzer were introduced. The calibration method and the main calibration items such as linear error, correlation coefficient, detection limit and the repeatability of measurement, as well as the technical parameters were discussed. The technical parameters were as follows: the linearity error was within±10%, the linear correlation coefficient was not less than 0.997, the detection limit was not more than 0.02 ng, the repeatability (RSD) was less than 5% (n=7). The attentions in direct mercury analyzer calibration were put forward.
