Based on the databases of ESI and InCites developed by Thomson Reuters Company,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the subjects of China University of Geosciences,probes into the relationships between the highly cited papers,hot papers,top papers and the subject development,and forecasts the subjects that are subsequently most likely to enter the ESI’s top 1%subjects in the world.
