The successful application of bidirectional replication of databases established by the Three Gorges and Chengdu hydropower dispatching automation systems is introduced.Several challenging issues in the implementation are discussed, such as the data conflicts and the privilege management of data areas.Also, the operation performance of this replication scheme is demonstrated.The experience is of great practical implications and application values.
