This article summarized the nursing of 52 sputum suction patients with tracheotomy,including the sputum suction time and indica?tions,the selection of suction tube,body position during suction,operation cautions and the depth of sputum suction tube insertion.It?s recom?mended that different sputum suction patients with tracheotomy should be treated with different sputum suction methods and appropriate nurs?ing of sputum suction could reduce the rate of sputum suction complications,promoting the recovery of patients.
