In the water diversion works from the Yangtze River to the Hanjiang River of the middle route project in the south-to-north water diversion project, the information management is rather difficult due to the long duration, massive investment, large number of contractors, large amount of information, and the high standard of information acquisition and processing.Thus, successful information management experiences are summarized including the classification, cod-ing, and automatic management of the real-time information, which guarantee the timeliness, accuracy, standardization and practicality of information acquisition and processing.
