通过比较分析广东省几所具有代表性高校的横向项目经费管理办法，发现各高校横向项目管理存在制度更新滞后、合同审核控制点标准不一、经费管理规范、过程管理不到位等问题，针对这些问题提出完善横向项目管理制度、规范横向项目经费管理、标准化项目过程管理、提高横向项目的认识与定位等建议，以提升高校科研项目管理效率，提高科研服务水平，促使横向科研合作在服务地方经济社会发展中发挥更大作用。

The paper analyzes comparatively management approaches of several representative transverse research projects in universities of Guangdong Province. Some problems are found,such as the outdated project management system,the in-consistent standards of the contract audit control points,the disordered financial management,the inefficient the process management,and so on. The paper puts forward some suggestions to solve these problems,which include:(1 ) improving and updating the transverse scientific research project management system;(2)setting the standardization for funds man-agement of transverse project;(3)making the project process management standardized;(4)improving the understanding on the role of the transverse projects,in order to improve the management efficiency and service level,and prompt trans-verse scientific research cooperation playing a bigger role in serving local economic and social development.
