为提高流行病学的教学效果，应考虑多个方面，包括具备一定的基础医学、临床医学知识和统计学知识，多举实例，优化教学内容，采用案例式、互动式及启发式等多样化教学方式，重视课后实践，以提高学生学习兴趣，培养其发现、分析、解决问题的能力，增进师生感情，促进教学相长。
