与多喷嘴对置式水煤浆气化装置配套的水洗塔经常出现气体带水和压差大的问题。通过3次改造，以3个工作区域的构想，将水洗塔设计为舌形是为了使用低塔板+带导向的固阀塔板+泡罩塔板的结构，成功地降低了水洗塔压差，解决了气体带水的问题。
