机用平口钳是通用夹具的一种，具有简练紧凑、夹紧力度强、易于操作使用等特点，广泛应用在铣床、钻床、平面磨床等机械装备。文中使用计算机辅助设计软件SolidWorks完成平口钳建模与装配，为零件加工精度的保证奠定基础。实践证明，用SolidWorks可以缩短产品设计周期，减少设计成本。

The machine pliers is one of universal fixtures, and is widely used in the milling, drilling, surface grinder, and other mechanical equipment. This paper completed the machine pliers modeling and assembly using Solidworks. The practice proves that the method can shorten the product design cycle and reduce the design costs.
