Objective To investigate the value of community standardized management in resident hypertension. Methods 5701 cases patients with hypertension were regarded as the research object, who were from 7 community in our city. They were divided into 2 groups randomly. Community standardized management were taken by the observation group (3150 cases), and conventional community management were taken by the control group(2551 cases). The awareness rate, treatment rate, control rate and adverse events incidence of 2 groups were then counted and compared. Results The awareness rate, treatment rate and control rate of the observation group were 86.03%, 75.11% and 71.87%,which were significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). Adverse events incidence of the observation group was 5.43%, and the control group was 13.09%. The difference had statistical significance by comparison. Conclusion Community standardized management is conducive to the control of hypertension, reducing the incidence of adverse events, which has great social benefits and economic benefits.
