为了准确描述固体火箭发动机内三元乙丙( EPDM)绝热层在有限变形下的力学特性,主要通过多步松弛和单轴拉伸2种实验方法,获得平衡响应曲线和拉伸曲线。分别采用Ogden模型、Mooney-Rivlin模型,对平衡响应曲线进行拟合,并以此为基础,引入应变率参数μ来描述EPDM在单轴拉伸实验中的率相关特性,从而建立了EPDM在准静态单轴拉伸条件下的本构模型。研究结果表明,本文所建立的模型能很好地描述EPDM在准静态条件下的力学特性,通过该模型,也可在有限应变率范围内预测EPDM的应力响应特性。

To describe the mechanical property of EPDM insulation of solid rocket motor under finite deformation condition, e-quilibrium response curve and tensile curves were obtained by multi-step relaxation and uniaxial tensile tests. The article mainly a-dopts Ogden and Mooney-Rivlin strain energy function to characterize the equilibrium response curve, based on which, the parame-ter μ was introduced as a function of strain rates and strain which is sufficient to determine the rate effects of EPDM rubber under the uniaxial tension tests. The constitutive model can effectively characterize the mechanical property of EPDM under quasi-static loading. And in this way, the stress-strain behavior of EPDM can be predicted by the constitutive equation as long as the strain rates are in a limited range.
