学生资助是高校教育工作体系的一个重要组成部分，当前，在国家资助政策的推动下，高校家庭经济困难学生资助体系日益完善和丰富，逐步建立起了以校园地助学贷款和生源地助学贷款为主，包括奖助学金、勤工助学、特殊困难补助和学费减免在内的多元化资助体系，该体系对部分家庭经济困难学生顺利完成学业起到了雪中送炭的作用。然而，资助工作不仅应为学生提供物质帮助，更应为同学们提供精神动力，充分激发家庭经济困难学生的内在成长动力，引导他们自立自强，完成从“他助”向“自助”的转变。
