思想政治教育工作的目的和根本任务是根据无产阶级的意志和利益，对被教育者进行马克思主义的政治思想和政治理论的宣传和教育，这一过程的完成是通过教育者和被教育者来实施的，人是这一教育活动中的根本因素，因此，高校思想政治教育工作必须坚持以学生为本的思想。本文从当今社会发展之所需、大学生全面发展的需要等三个方面阐述了大学生思想政治教育坚持以人为本的必要性，同时通过重视大学生的心理需要、正视大学生的个体差异、注重大学生的自我教育等五个方面阐述了坚持以人为本的大学生思想政治教育的途径。

The purpose and the basic task of ideological and political education work is to publicize and teach the ideological and political theory of the Marxist to the educated according to the will and interests of the proletariat. The completion of this process is implemented by educators and the educated, and the educated is the fundamental factor in the process. Therefore, the ideological and political education work in college must adhere to student-oriented thought.This paper elaborates the ne-cessity of adhering to the people-oriented thought form three perspectives,including the needs of current social development and the needs of the college students' all-round development. It also elaborates the ways of adhering to the people-oriented ideological and political education by attaching great importance to the college students' psychological needs, facing up to the individual difference of college students, paying attention to students' self-education and other two aspects.
