为了解种源间的生长特性，调查分析了华北落叶松25份种源的2 a 生苗高和地径生长动态，结果表明：华北落叶松种源间苗高和地径年生长量均存在显著差异，具有很大的改良潜力；种源24、7、2和20的苗高年生长量均大于20 cm ，种源7和2的地径年生长量均大于2．9 mm ；综合评价苗期生长情况，华北落叶松种源2、21、24、7和15表现优良。

L arix pricipis‐rup p rechtii is one of the most important forest species in northern China ,and this species from different geographic provenances had different grow th charac‐teristics due to long‐term influence of natural environment . In order to understand the grow th differences among various L arix p ricipis‐rup p rechtii provenances ,height and basal diameter dynamic grow th of 2 a seedlings from 25 provenances of L arix p ricipis‐rup p rechtii were investigated .Results showed that the seedling height and basal diameter were both sig‐nificant among 25 provenances .The fastest annual grow th of its seedling height (> 20 cm) and basal diameter (> 2 .9 mm) were found in provenances 24 ,7 ,2 ,20 and 7 ,2 ,respec‐tively .The comprehensive evaluation of seedling grow th showed the provenances 2 ,21 and 24 of L arix p ricipis‐rup p rechtii were better than the others .
