《庄子》是道家经典著作之一，书中出现过许多人物，而其中儒家思想的创始人“孔子”是被提及频率最高、也是最为重要的人物之一。《庄子》三十三篇原文中共有二十一篇提到“孔子”其人，包括少量话题“谈论到孔子”和大部分“孔子与他人对话”这两种形式出现。其中内、外、杂篇中分别占有四篇、九篇和八篇。本文阐述了书中塑造孔子人物形象的方式；通过归纳的方法，分类出《庄子》中关于孔子“背道”、“求道”、“悟道”和“传道”这四种人物形象，再分别加以说明，从而得出孔子形象在《庄子》一书中的价值意义。
