Welding seam of pipe in auxiliary feedwater system were broken on daily inspection in a domestic nuclear power plant.The investigation for the failure included chemical composition analysis,mi crostructureobservation,and so on.Based on the systematic analysis ,itcould be concluded that the reasons for pipe crack were unqualified welding technology and fatigue under alternate load.
