宅园是徽州古民居空间体系的重心，较集中地反映了宅居主人的文化品位和园林审美观，折射出古徽州的传统民俗和生活方式，其成熟的空间设计理念奠定了宅园在徽州园林体系中无可替代的地位。本文以皖南西递、屏山、宏村和南屏等地的居民宅园为研究对象，通过实地调研，对徽州古民居宅园空间特征及类型进行分析总结并得出相应结论，为徽州古民居宅园的研究提供可参考的资料。

Courtyard is the core of Huizhou ancient dwel ing’s space systems, reflects the cultural and aesthetic opinion of the owner, and the traditional custom and lifestyle of the ancient Huizhou. Residence Garden space have irreplaceable position in Huizhou garden system because of its mature design concepts of space.In this paper,through surveying and researching of the ancient resident gardens of Hongcun,Xidi,PingShan,Nanping and other vil ages, try to analyze and summarize the characteristics and types of residence Garden space,drawing the appropriate conclusions and providing reference materials for the study of the Private Resident Garden’s Space of Huizhou ancient dwel ings.
