年龄增长是心房颤动重要独立的危险因素，同时也是血栓形成的危险因素。在长期的治疗护理中，由于血栓及出血并发症等问题导致此类患者在治疗护理中有较高难度。当患者出现持续的症状和生活质量下降时，应考虑转复和抗心律失常药物治疗以维持窦性节律。从分析研究中得出，老年患者全身抗凝来防治卒中所得到的收益超过严重出血的风险，老年患者抗凝治疗确切有效。同时有效的护理能提高生活质量的疗效，包括药物治疗护理、心理护理、出院指导及随访和社区护理。

Increasing age is an independent prognostic factors for the development of atrial fibrillation (AF) in China,as well as for incident thrombopoietic risk in patients with AF. Such patients often show management challenges due to high risk for both stroke and bleeding complications related to thromboprophylaxis in long term care. These pa-tients with unremitting symptoms and poor quality of life despite adequate rate-control should be considered for car-dioversion and antiarrhythmic drug therapy aimed at maintaining sinus rhythm. The result from reviews that the bene-fits of systemic anticoagulation in decreasing the risk of stroke is more important than the risk of serious bleeding in most older patients by analysis, so we get a substantial consequence that anticoagulation is indicated in the majority of older AF patients in most cases. Meanwhile effective care can improve therapeutic effect and quality of life, including medication nursing, mental nursing, leave hospital instruction, follow-up and community nursing.
