本文通过4台 Bio-Argo 浮标在全球三个贫营养海区(南、北太平洋副热带海区、西北地中海)的观测数据,研究了叶绿素 a 浓度([Chla])和光束衰减系数(cp (660))的季节变化、两者的比值随光照的变化。研究表明,在南、北太平洋副热带海区,表层[Chla]与 cp 在季节上存在显著的非耦合性,[Chla]冬高夏低,cp 几乎不存在季节变化;在西北地中海,[Chla]与 cp 在季节上存在一定程度的共变特征。整体而言,[Chla]与 cp 的比值体现了浮游植物的光适应性,随生长光照的增高而降低。浮游植物的光适应性也存在明显的海区差异,通过两种回归模型,本文建立了三个海区的光适应方程,分析表明,造成这种海区差异的原因在于:除光照的限制外,浮游植物还受温度和营养盐的限制,回归系数 C 表征了温度与营养盐限制在季节上变化的程度,变化程度越小,C越接近于3。

Based on the in situ dataset observed by 4 Bio-Argo floats deployed in three oligotrophic waters (South and North Pacific subtropical Gyre (SPG,NPG),North-Western Mediterranean sea (NWM)),this study focused on the seasonal variations of chlorophyll-a concentration ([Chla])and beam attenuation coefficient (cp (660)),as well as the response of their ratio with seasonally variable light intensity.The results showed that,both in SPG and NPG,there exis-ted remarkable decoupling between surface [Chla]and cp ,the former had a clear seasonal pattern (higher in winter and lower in summer),while the latter had no such variation.In NWM,[Chla]and cp co-varied seasonally to a certain ex-tent.Generally,the ratio of [Chla]and cp represented the characteristics of phytoplankton photoadaptation,decreased with growth irradiance increasing.The photoadaptation had the regional difference as well,this study,therefore,estab-lished different regressed equations in 3 regions based on two models,and proved that the light-dependent relationship are also regulated by variant nutrient and temperature limit conditions in different regions,and found that the regressed coefficient C represented the variability extent of nutrient and /or temperature limit.Less seasonal variation would lead to higher C (closer to 3).
