To summarize the academic experiences of Professor An Ayue in treating constipation.Professor An thought the performance of constipation was Fu Qi being obstructed,but dysfunction of lung, spleen, liver, kidney was closely related to the disease, and Qi deficiency and blood stasis and context of intestinal lossing nutrition lead to the function of intestine out of controlling.which were all related to Constipation.Through the long-term clinical practices,Professor An found four kinds of therapy in treating constipation,such as opening the inhibited lung-energy relaxing bowel, nourishing liver and kidney relaxing bowel, smoothing liver and invigorating spleen relaxing bowel, supplementing Qi and nourishing blood and removing blood stasis relaxing bowel,which achieved good clinical efficacy by dialectical therapy.
