Structure of spectrometer is very precise. Technique of adjusting spectrometer is one of the basic skills of optical experiment. Adjusting optical axis of the telescope is perpendicular to spectrometer’ s axis of rotation is the most difficult process. When measuring prism’ s index of refraction,adjusting optical axis of the telescope is perpendicular to prism’ s plane of refraction is the other trouble. This paper will introduce how to solve the problem by round level bubble. The way is simple and easy to operate.
