After 6308 deep groove ball bearings work environment, visual inspection of the parts, the physical and chemical examination and heat treatment microstructure examination, it was showed that one side of the bearing had no dust cover, and the dust enter inside the bearing to cause the bearing wear , then the failure of the bearing was produced. Meanwhile, the common failure modes and preventive measures of the bearing were introduced.
