The current research and direction of the annular flow are discussed in this paper at home and abroad. It proves that the pressure slumps when the lubricating fluid made of water transport crude oil with high viscosity, which reduce the wall pollution and energy consumption at the same time. Therefore, this technology can replace the traditional pipeline transportation of crude oil.
