从艾叶的易得性、易燃性、燃烧稳定性、燃烧的高温与高热性、药性作用与易成型性6个方面探讨了中医灸法为什么选择艾叶作为灸材这一灸法基本问题。认为这种选择有其必然性也有偶然性，正是这一选择使中医艾灸成为集热疗、光疗与药疗于一体，同时调动人体嗅觉、痛觉与炎性反应治疗疾病、保持健康的综合疗法，推动了中医的发展，值得发扬光大。
從艾葉的易得性、易燃性、燃燒穩定性、燃燒的高溫與高熱性、藥性作用與易成型性6箇方麵探討瞭中醫灸法為什麽選擇艾葉作為灸材這一灸法基本問題。認為這種選擇有其必然性也有偶然性，正是這一選擇使中醫艾灸成為集熱療、光療與藥療于一體，同時調動人體嗅覺、痛覺與炎性反應治療疾病、保持健康的綜閤療法，推動瞭中醫的髮展，值得髮颺光大。
종애협적역득성、역연성、연소은정성、연소적고온여고열성、약성작용여역성형성6개방면탐토료중의구법위십요선택애협작위구재저일구법기본문제。인위저충선택유기필연성야유우연성，정시저일선택사중의애구성위집열료、광료여약료우일체，동시조동인체후각、통각여염성반응치료질병、보지건강적종합요법，추동료중의적발전，치득발양광대。
In this paper, moxibustion basic question -why we choose artemisia argyi as moxibustion material were answered from artemisiae argyi availability, flammability, the combustion stability, combustion of high temperature and high heat resistance, medicinal function and operability.This choice has its inevitability and contingency.It is this choice to make Chinese Medicine moxibustion integrate thermal therapy, phototherapy and medication.At the same time, the integration mobilizes sense of smell, sense of pain and inflammatory reaction of human to treat diseases with keeping healthy, and promotes the development of Chinese Medicine and is worth of fostering.
