West to East Power Transmission is a neces sary way to realize the resource optimization in south China. This paper analyzes the implementation of its agreements in recent years. Depth analyzes the effectiveness of the West to East Power Transmission in CSG, from the economic, energy efficiency, energy security and the other aspects. Finally thinking of the internal and external factors, which affect the development of West to East Power Transmission, and provide some sug-gestions to guarantee its sustainable development.
