Human leukocyte antigen (HLA)is the highest pleomorphic gene complex in human genome.Its encoding product (HLA molecule) has the function of antigen presentation,plays an important role in immune response.A large number of studies show that HLA molecules are closely related with many autoimmune diseases and virus infectious diseases.So in-depth study of the intrinsic mechanism between HLA molecules and HLA-related diseases would bring the hope to overcome these diseases.
