NLRP3 inflammasomes is one of the recognition receptor family members of the innate immune systems. The expression of NLRP3 inflammasomes is high in the lesions of psoriasis. Caspase-1 ( Cysteine-containing aspartate hydrolase) is activated and the secretion of inflammatory cytokines is promoted after the inflammasome activated. NLRP3 inflammasmes may be involved in the inflammation process of psoriasis.
