在充分考虑辽西走廊旅游发展现状以及面临的问题的基础上，文章提出辽西走廊应采用“一心、八极、三横轴、三竖轴和七外联轴”的旅游发展空间战略，通过均衡格局、精品品牌、区域合作和特色突出四项部署以及政府重视旅游产业；政策倾斜；旅游项目建设的带动作用；旅游创新驱动；思想观念转变；旅游人才等六项对策来促进辽西走廊旅游健康、持续发展。辽西走廊旅游发展空间战略的目的是不断提升其旅游竞争力，并实现区域经济的均衡发展。本研究既有利于辽西走廊范围内旅游业的优化布局，也有利于辽宁省旅游竞争力的提升，其他地区也可从中借鉴旅游布局和发展战略的经验。

On the basis of an analysis of status quo and problems facing the travel development of Liaoxi Corridor, some developmental strategies with special characteristics are put forward to maintain the healthy development of the travel in Liaoxi Corridor, such as balancing the layout, building elite brands, strengthening local cooperation, etc. The purpose of the strategies is to increasingly improve the Corridor's competitiveness in tourism industry, and to achieve a balanced development in the local economy. The research results will be beneficial to the optimal layout for the travel in Liaoxi Corridor, and also to the improvement of competitiveness in travel for other regions in Liaoning Province. Meanwhile, the results also serve as a reference for the tourism of areas outside Liaoning Province.
