The simulation model of 220 kV and 500 kV parallel power transmission lines on the same tower in Hunan power grid is built during two different phase faults along with disconnection of both the double-circuit transmission lines. The power flowing and transient stability are analyzed after faults. The effects on the security and stability of power system are studied when double-circuit transmission lines are disconnected on the same tower.
