针对一种基于STATCOM的次同步阻尼控制器( GTSDC),对其工作原理与系统构成及GTSDC接入系统后可能存在的问题进行了分析,同时借助仿真软件,系统研究了GTSDC接入对电力系统的影响因素。研究结果表明, GTSDC接入对机组电压和电流的质量基本无影响;可能引发的变压器直流偏磁问题不严重;所产生的次同步电流相对机组容量有限;电网的短路电流变化很小,证明次同步阻尼控制器的接入不会对电网、厂用电系统造成不利影响。

Suppression measures for sub-synchronous oscillation of generators has recently become a hot research, and the theory has been verified by engineering practices in some power plants.This paper studies an damping con-troller for sub-synchronous oscillation ( GTSDC) based on STATCOM.It analyzed its structures, operational prin-ciples, the problems and influences that the sinmulation software PSCAD may have after it hand been connected to the system.The results show that:GTSDC does not affect the quality of the unit voltage and current;DC magnetic bias in transformer is not serious, the ratio of sub-synchronous current by GTSDC to unit capacity is small, and short-circuit current in power grid changes very little.All of these prove that: GTSDC will not bring out adverse effects for power grid and auxiliary power.
