︰依据美国学者米勒的公众科学素养指标体系并结合中国科学技术协会公民科学素养调查方法，对湖北省咸宁市留守妇女进行了抽样调查。调查结果显示，湖北省咸宁市具备基本科学素养的农村留守妇女比例低于全国平均水平；农村留守妇女获取科学信息的渠道比较单一，对现代信息传播工具认同度较低。信息获取能力不足﹑信息资源分配不均衡﹑信息服务性别敏感度低是造成农村留守妇女科学素养水平较低的重要原因。有必要通过提高政策性别敏感度﹑拓宽科技信息获取渠道﹑提高信息服务的针对性与有效性等方式，给予农村留守妇女必要的信息援助，改变其信息弱势地位，进而不断提升其科学素养水平，顺应当前农村劳动力女性化背景下农业现代化发展的现实诉求。

According to United States scholar Miller's index system of public scientific literacy and combining with the citizen's scientific literacy survey methods from China Association for Science and Technology, the author investigated rural left-behind women in Xianning city of Hubei province. Survey results showed that the proportion of rural women with basic scientific literacy in Xianning city was lower than that of national average level, rural left-behind women's access to scientific information was a bit pale, and the degree of identity for modern communications tool was low. The important reasons that caused rural left-behind women with low level of scientific literacy were inadequate ability to obtain information, unbalanced distribution of information resources, and low gender sensitivity for information service. It's necessary to give rural left-behind women essential information aid, and change their weak information position by enhancing gender sensitivity for policy, broadening the channel of obtaining science and technology information, heightening the pertinence and effectiveness of information service and so on, so as to promote rural left-behind women's scientific literacy, and shape to the realistic demand of the appeal for the development of agricultural modernization under the rural labor force feminization.
