党的十八大明确指出：至2020年，要实现我国居民收入翻番。在收入翻番的背景下，农村居民消费率越来越高，消费结构将发生明显的变化，旅游消费支出也将在农村居民消费支出中的比重逐渐加大。因此，研究农村居民旅游消费趋势，并提供适合农村居民需求的旅游产品对提高农村居民生活质量、扩大内需有重要作用。
