树木是生命体,在对有缺陷的古树名木做支撑防护时采用刚性支撑杆,将不利于树木自适应生长和自我增强,科学的作法应是采用弹性支撑,使古树在小风小雪中自由摆动、在大风大雪中有限摆动。本文介绍了黄山风景区所采用的几种弹性支撑杆的设计及其应用情况。

Trees are living things. Using rigid bracing support protection in the defective old trees will be detrimental to the growth of trees adaptive and self-enhancement.Elastic bracing is a scientific bracing approach for trees. It makes trees freely swing in the small wind snow and limited swinging in strong wind and snow.This paper introduces design and applications of some new elastic bracing for ancient and famouse trees which had good protective effect in Mt. Huangshan.
