This paper, taking a 2301S mine fully mechanized top coal caving working face as an example, revealed the effect of high temperature environment on the coal combustion characteristic, summarized the coal spontaneous combustion characteristics of the super long fully mechanized caving working face, determined the coal spontaneous"three zone"of gob and the danger zone, calculated the minimum safety mining schedule, and established a coal spontaneous combustion control technology system in the high temperature and super long fully mechanized top coal caving working face.
