Arterial spin labeling technique is a kind of detection method for the assessment of perfusion which utilizes magnetic resonance marked blood as endogenous contrast .The advantages of this examination method including easy access , without the need of contrast injection , no radiation etc .This article is aimed at introduce the theory , the development status of ASL and the application and development trend of ASL in various organs.
