Drug is a special commodity and is related to the health and safety of people.With the continuous improvement of people's living standard and health care reforming, pharmaceutical analysis is playing a more and more important role.Spectrophotometry, because of its simple equipment, convenient operation, high sensitivity, has not to be ignored in drug analysis.The principles and applications of spectrophotometric determinations of reductive drugs based on the chromogenic reaction of Fe2+were reviewed, and the future for the determination of reductive drugs was prospected.
