奥陶系含水层由于范围广、富水性较强,长期以来一直是煤矿生产的重要地层。以山西临县庞庞塔井田为例,本区奥灰含水层富水性中等,奥灰水位普遍高于主要可采煤层底板标高,底板突水已成为矿井水害防治的重点。因此,从大气降水、地表水、地下水和老空水等充水水源,以及断层、陷落柱和顶底板采动破坏等方面分析了矿井充水条件,这对煤层开压、开采具有比较重要的指导意义。
