本文主要探讨的是许渊冲文学翻译理论框架下的“优化论”，这是许氏译论第一次以理论的形式主张“优化”和“美化”，是对“忠实”标准的发展和完善，本文继而发掘“优化论”对英诗汉译的启示，可以发挥汉语意合美的优势，运用四字格对译文进行优化，以寻求更佳的表达方式。笔者还提出了该理论可能对译者造成的负面启示即“优化的误区”———过犹不及。
본문주요탐토적시허연충문학번역이론광가하적“우화론”，저시허씨역론제일차이이론적형식주장“우화”화“미화”，시대“충실”표준적발전화완선，본문계이발굴“우화론”대영시한역적계시，가이발휘한어의합미적우세，운용사자격대역문진행우화，이심구경가적표체방식。필자환제출료해이론가능대역자조성적부면계시즉“우화적오구”———과유불급。
This paper mainly discusses Xu Yuanchong' s "Optimization Theory" under the framework of his literary translation theory. This is the first time that Xu advocated"Optimization"and"beautification"in the form of theory, which was the development and im-provement of the"faithfulness"standard. This paper then explores the enlightenment of"Optimization Theory"on Chinese translation of English verse by taking advantage of the beauty of Chinese parataxis and using four-character structure so as to find a better way of ex-pression. The author also proposes that the theory may cause the negative implications to the translators as well, namely the trap of"Opti-mization".
