《宋史》卷四四六《忠义一·孙益传》的“孙益”与卷四四七《忠义二·徐徽言传附孙昂》中所提及的“孙翊”实为一人。揆诸史料，凡以朱弁所作《奏状》或《忠义录》为史源的史料皆作“孙益”。而以《封氏纪年》、《金虏节要》等史料为史源者皆作“孙翊”，且以杨存中《奏状》为史源的史料亦作“孙翊”。本文综合原始史料和逻辑关系，从史源的角度，厘清讹误，认为当以作“孙翊”者为正。
《송사》권사사륙《충의일·손익전》적“손익”여권사사칠《충의이·서휘언전부손앙》중소제급적“손익”실위일인。규제사료，범이주변소작《주상》혹《충의록》위사원적사료개작“손익”。이이《봉씨기년》、《금로절요》등사료위사원자개작“손익”，차이양존중《주상》위사원적사료역작“손익”。본문종합원시사료화라집관계，종사원적각도，전청와오，인위당이작“손익”자위정。
The History of the Song Dynasty has numerous volumes,many of which have corrupted a lot. The Sun Yi in the 446th volume“Loyalty 1:Biography of Sun Yi”and the Sun Li in the 447th volume“Loyalty 2:Xu Hui’s Talk with Sun Ang”are actually the same person. Sun Yi is recorded in various historical data which take Zhu Bian’s "Written Suggestions" or "Loyalty" as recorded history source,while Sun Li is recorded in various historical data which take "Feng’s Annals",“Jinlv’s Minutes”and Yang Cunzhong’s"Written Suggestions"as recorded history source. This paper denotes Sun Li to be correct according to original historical material and logical relations.
