There are five key issues in the overse as literatures on deliberative democracy: 1) some basic theoretical contents of deliberative democracy; 2) the proposals for the application of deliberative democracy and the ways to make it work; 3) the limita-tions of deliberative democracy and the criticisms to it; 4) the validations of the delibera-tive democracy theory and the practices concerning it; 5) the summaries, reflections and promotions of the researches on deliberative democracy.
